Shire Hall Scarlett Dymond trial

Shire Hall Scarlett Dymond trial video editing

We were asked by the council to film the trial of the murder of Scarlett Dymond. The dates we went down to film was the 18th and the 25th. The trial lasted half an hour. The reason why they wanted us to film the trial is because the council is shutting down the trial. I recorded in two places, first when the trail wasn't working correctly I was doing the establishing shot which recorded the whole court room constantly. The second time when the trial was working correctly I recorded a birds eye view of the courtroom from upstairs. The first time we tried to record the waxworks were not in sync with the audio. They fixed this error within the next week.

We tried to get a clearer image from the cameras and learn from last time about how the cameras work and whats the best setting for the aperture on the cameras and how to get them into focus easier, as we were using proper film lenses, they didn't zoom so we had to physically get close to the action to get a decent shot.
