I think I have successfully portrayed the music genre of my artist. It was clear that it was a pop artist however maybe next time I would get rid of the Explicit Lyrics logo as this may put people off because the codes and conventions of a pop genre is that the music is aimed at younger generations so explicit lyrics may not be the best choice. To improve next time I would change the font of the MP as I feel that it doesn't portray the pop genre of this artist. I also think I should have got rid of the palm trees in the tour poster. In the tour poster I feel that there should have been some more dates as I had put on there some very large names in the music industry. Overall I'm quite happy with the end result, in the future Id like to learn how to make my fonts better as I had a few issues with them and then trying to find the fonts was hard to. I used a combination of dafont and youworkforthem. But I have to screenshot it for that to work and that means the quality of the font is not very good. Maybe a lesson in indesign or other adobe packages to allows me to easily present the work in a sensible format.

  2. A great start Ellis, but you need to pay far more attention to the details!

WWW - you have a clear brand style which is continued throughout the three products in terms of colour palette and imagery. Love the website photo!

TARGETS - Details! Your choice of fonts, text layout and placement, size and continuity means a lack of clarity and also makes the genre unclear in places. I'd also like to see you consider your photography composition more carefully.
